The Enterprise Production Change Request (EPCR) process is designed to manage the recording and implementation of changes into any production environment while minimizing disruptions to the production environment and information technology customers.  This process will ensure that a change request is received and managed appropriately from opening to closing.

o     Designed, coded, tested, and implemented the phase I new requirements of the EPCR eform on three (3) environments, BUILD, DEV, UAT.

·               Responsible for fixing bugs encountered by users and/or testers.  These bugs were captured on Software Change Request [SCR] documents and Inspector Change Request [ICR].   Also responsible for coding and implementing enhancements required by the business affiliates.  Enhancements were captured on Software Change Request [SCR] documents.

 

·               Customized several aspects of the user interface (UI) to meet specific Johnson & Johnson requirements.  These include:

·               Investigated and Solved issues [3^rd tier help desk tickets] entered by users of Ariba Buyer. Issues were present in all areas of the system. Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Eforms, Invoices, Receipts, Approval flow, Business rules, Catalogs, Commodity Codes, Log, update and resolve the issues [tickets] entered on the Remedy [Picasso] system; this system is used to keep track of all help desk tickets submitted.

o        Verified accuracy of all 4 commodity CSV files

Acted as a project advisor on the Ariba Buyer implementation at Pillsbury Co.  I was involved in the full cycle of the implementation of the solution at Pillsbury.  Provided strategic support to partners such as PWC, and client’s top management to ensure the successful implementation of the solution.  My duties included assistance to client and/or partner project teams on design, project mapping, budgeting, system configuration, software implementation, and integration of Ariba Buyer with back end systems (SAP).   Also, provided clients and partners with detailed Ariba Buyer product knowledge and expertise on web-based technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and HTML. Acted as the liaison between clients/partners and knowledgeable resources within the Ariba organization.

 

·               Installed Ariba Buyer 6.0 patch 3

·               Upgraded the product (Ariba Buyer 6.0) 2 times.  From patch 3 to patch 4 and from patch 4 to patch 5.  Manually merged the changes from the new files to the existing files when the upgrade process didn’t apply the patch due to a modified file.

·               Customized several aspects of the user interface (UI) to meet specific Pillsbury’s needs.

·               Developed several business forms (cXML) required to enter additional information on certain products bought by Pillsbury.

·               Developed several business rules (Java Script) specific to Pillsbury’s business model.

·               Developed an integration event to load profit centers from a CSV file into the Ariba Buyer database.

·               Suppliers Ram-up.  Responsible to bring on board all the suppliers for the Pillsbury account.  Responsible to create the punchout account for one of the suppliers (Dell computers).

·               Catalog Expert.  I was responsible for the catalog and content effort.  Responsible to load the entire set of catalogs for all suppliers.

·               Set up all the information needed for a disconnected ERP installation.  Created the SQL command to insert real data from the Pillsbury SAP system in to the Buyer database (MS SQL Server 7.0).  The application was being used with real data from SAP (suppliers, cost centers, etc).

·               Troubleshot and solved production issues (stuck orders, catalog items not showing, supplier issues, etc).

·               Designed and developed the development environment and methodology to be used by the developers.

·               Developed the complete set of test scripts used during the test phase.  The scripts were developed based on the user’s requirements.

·               Change Management; developed several training documents to help the client in their training sessions.  Conducted some of the training sessions to users.  Trained two interns in the entire process for loading catalogs.
